NOTT Dance comes storming back with its most exciting programme yet.

Enjoy a vibrant festival of contemporary dance from an outstanding choice of international, national and regional companies performing throughout Nottinghamshire.

Celebrating its seventh year with an expanded programme of events that will excite and inspire, NOTT Dance continues to reflect the diverse range of activity that defines new dance.

A rare opportunity to catch a selection of prestigious international artists. From Chicago we welcome the highly respected Goat Island, in a performance they have spent the last five months developing in the UK. Majaki Iwana will challenge audience expectations in Engagement With Substances. NOTT Dance also welcomes Janice Garrett from San Francisco in an exciting collaboration with Jonathan Lunn.

Experience the latest shows from an equally impressive line up of UK choreographers. The programme includes Small Bones Dance Company in two vivid and sophisticated new pieces and a unique double bill of solo works by Russell Maliphant and Wayne Mc Gregor.

Three of the brightest regional companies open the festival in new works especially commissioned for NOTT Dance by Dance4. During the festival Short Stay Visitors, Bayrave Ripfish and Asheber Dance will tour the Regional Dance Highway  from Nottingham’s Bonington Gallery to Phoenix Arts in Leicester and back.

See the recent developments of 7 regional companies in a range of budding new performances including a sneak preview of a work in progress by Reckless Sleepers.

Participate in an array of events offering profiles of the artists and insights into their working methods.
